Week 1

Well Ladies, week 1 is almost over.  How is everyone doing?  I have been sticking to my plan the whole week, but haven't really been losing much.  It's sort of frustrating, but I know I just need to stick with it. 

I wrote another post asking what everyone is doing to lose weight, but it looks like it got lost when blogger started having problems...maybe it will come back out of the abyss sometime.  So, I'll ask again, what is everyone doing to drop the LBs?

  1. Calories in, Calories out.....it's the only way for me to lose it and keep it off. I've cut my daily intake and workout 3-4 times per week. So far so good.....worried about an upcoming trip to Vegas!

  2. Right now I am doing NutraSystem, but am very unimpressed with the food :( So I am going to finish the food I've got, then I will start Eat to Live. It's basically a vegan diet. I've done it before with good results, but it's kind of hard to stick to.

    Here is a good motivator though - yesterday at work on got onto the elevator with a guy I hadn't seen for a few months. He said "It looks like you are going to have another baby! Congratulations!" Ummm no, it's my second day back from maternity leave! I didn't eat the rest of the day!

  3. This week has been super frustrating. I have lost some I started to count my weight watcher points again. I have done pretty good with it but because of my foot surgery I can't work out but eat like I do workout which is my problem, so this week I have been hungry a lot. Good news though I can start doing water aerobics next week so at least I will be getting some workouts in. If anybody wants to come with it is every night at 7pm!!!

  4. I too have been somewhat frustrated this week. I have been drinking tons of water and trying to count calories, but being 3 weeks postpartum I am having a hard time doing any workouts, which is how I usually lose the most weight. I have been walking on the treadmill and I guess will just keep trying.

  5. I am refusing to weigh myself until Monday night and it's killing me-I feel like I'm doing alright but who knows! I have had some great days and some death eating days!I feel sort of like the bear coming out of hibernation-I need to wake up and get moving!

  6. Calories IN, MORE Calories OUT!!! And WATER, WATER, WATER -

    Also, for those of you desk-job ladies, I've been setting a timer on my computer and climbing stairs for a few minutes every hour and a half - plus, with all my water intake, I have to go to the girls' room frequently, and I'm on the third floor, but I only go to the bathroom on the 4th floor. . . I figure - it can't HURT to move a LITTLE here and there!
